This Vlog is pretty personal to me, as it involves my 22-month-old-son Cooper, and my wife Kristy’s quest to teach him to swim. I taught our first two kids, Kasey and Chase, how to swim at the Y. Back then I had a lot of time and I was able to go with them consistently. Kristy wanted to sign Cooper up for this class called “Safe Start.” At first I was very hesitate- for starters the class cost like 600 bucks, and then I remembered all the crying babies in the pool when I was teaching our first two how to swim.  I didn’t want Cooper to go through that. Eventually I relented. I was so amazed at how his instructor was able to take my screaming child and over a 6 week period was able to make a calm relaxed floater out of him. There are over 1.1 million swimming pools, 6000 lakes and over 1200 miles of coastline in Florida, so if you live in here and you have small children, I strongly recommend this program.
